Dr. Simmons represented AHC North ( University of Minnesota Medical School Duluth) at the National Bone Marrow Donor Program Summit this April. This meeting was a collection of experts and service providers looking for ways to increase the numbers of people of African ancestry in bone marrow registries around the world! It is a global issue and requires an international effort.
